The Village Board is pleased to announce that they have rehired Mike Klock to the Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector position effective Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Mike will be in the office on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. He can also be reach by email anytime. The Village finalized and submitted the Lead Service Line Inventory on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, that all municipalities in the United States were required to do by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). We want to thank our residents, landlords, and business owners who graciously allowed the DPW access to complete these inspections. It was an extremely time-consuming project for the DPW and Village Clerk’s office, but we truly appreciate your cooperation. The Lead Service Line Inventory is posted on the website. Attached is a copy of the 2025 Modern calendar. You should have received a flyer in the mail from Modern that contains this calendar as well. As you can see, Modern does not include specific dates for bulk pickup on the new calendar. They have instead opted to set bulk pickup as the second FULL WEEK of each month. Modern has clarified that a full week constitutes a Monday through Friday work week without a holiday that disrupts the service schedule.
