The Village Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Additionally, the Village Clerk’s office will be closed on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Please note that garbage and recycling will be delayed by one day each of those weeks.

The Village Board of Trustees will be holding a Special Board Meeting on Monday, November 25th, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Village Hall located at 24 Main Street.
The Village Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving.
The 2025 Village Election will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Village Hall. The hours the polls will be open are from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The mayor’s seat is up for election this year along with two trustee seats and each seat serves a 2-year term. The overnight parking ban will be enforced from Sunday, December 1, 2024, through Sunday, April 6, 2025. There is no parking on Village streets from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. to allow for snow removal.
The Clute-Phillips Post 938 American Legion will be holding its Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Village Commons located on the corner of Park Avenue and Main Street at 11 a.m. The Boy Scouts will follow with their flag retirement ceremony. There will also be soup and sandwiches served by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary at the Middleport Fire Hall immediately following the ceremony. The Boys and Girls State representatives will be in attendance to discuss their experiences with each program as well.
Bulk garbage pickup for December will be on Wednesday, December 11th. As a reminder, Modern will only pick up three items outside of your cart.
The Halloween trick-or-treating hours for the Village of Middleport will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
FMC has contracted the paving of Sleeper Street to begin on Monday, October 28, 2024. Please expect the road to be closed to local traffic only.
