Village of Middleport Residents – Residing in the Town of Royalton ONLY

The Town of Royalton will be holding an Electronics Recycling Day at the Highway Garage on Monday, June 2nd, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event is ONLY for residents who reside in the TOWN OF ROYALTON, so if you live in the Village of Middleport that falls within the Town of Royalton, you may drop off your electronic recycling that day. The address for the Town of Royalton Highway Garage is 5316 Royalton Center Road.

Work Session Meeting

The Village Board of Trustees are holding a Work Session meeting on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall located at 24 Main St, Middleport.

Arbor Day Celebration

This year’s Arbor Day celebration will be held on Friday, April 25th, at 2:30 p.m. The annual tree planting will take place on Hammond Parkway (across from the middle school) in the greenspace. Please join us!

FREE Paint Recycling Event in Medina

Niagara County and Orleans County are partnering with Green Sheen Paint to host a free paint recycling event on Saturday, May 31st, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at the GCC Medina Campus located at 11470 Maple Ridge Road in Medina. This event is open to all residents and businesses in the area, and it is completely free. All paint and paint cans will be recycled. You must register though by clicking on the link below.

Public Hearing – Proposed Local Law to Abolish the Village Planning Board

2025 NYS DEC Burn Ban

2025 Village Election Results

Congratulations to Dan Dodge who was reelected to the mayor’s seat for a second two-year term at the March 18th Village Election. There were 41 votes cast, and he received 40. Congratulations also go out to Wayne Blumrick and Dottie Barr who were both reelected to serve as trustees for another two years. There was a total of 68 votes cast. Wayne Blumrick received 31 votes and Dottie Barr received 37.

Budget Meeting

The Village Board of Trustees are holding a budget meeting on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. to work on the 2025-2026 Village Budget. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall located at 24 Main St, Middleport.
